Delray Beach CWC (Community Wellness Center Offers Lectures and Programs to Local Retirees

Since first posting this Blog, the Delray Beach CWC has grown in numbers of regular participants and in the variety of topics presented at this location. Dr. Cassidy has truly grown this gem of a program, in which he brings in experts and nearly all programming is at no cost to attendees. PHHC is proud to be a part of this vital community resource. Its location is perfect for Delray Beach residents and attracts folks from nearyby Boca Raton and Boynton Beach.

New Program 

A joint endeavor with the Parkinson Foundation is “Pounding Out Parkinson”. It is a half hour workout with Pounding Sticks, followed by a Support Group. It is open to all Neuro-Motor diseases and happens on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month at 12:15-1:15.

Wednesday, September 27th at 1:00 the Delray Community Wellness Center will host a talk about “Medicinal Marijuana & CBD Oils: Myths and Facts” facilitated by: Paradise Home Health Care, Florida Movement Centers and Medijuana Clinics.  

Should you have any topics you would like to see presented, you may email to: sherry@paradisehomehealthcare.com  and if deemed of a wider interest, a lecture can be developed. Otherwise, you will be referred to a professional in that field to speak with. Topics can range from disease tyoes, diet, exercise, therapy, medication management, legal documents etc. Any topic dealing with the physical, psychological and social wellness of the individual is welcome.
